1[tex]\sqrt[n]{x} 2[/tex]
Answer:
[tex]variables \: with \: no \: exponent \\ \: stay \: inside \: the \: radical[/tex]
[tex] variables \: raised \: to \: power \: 1 \: or \: (-1) \\ \: stay \: inside \: the \: radical[/tex]
variables raised to an even exponent: Half the exponent taken out, nothing remains inside the radical. examples:

that you were in an environment or place that you
did not know or a place you are uncomfortable
with. Tell the story by saying how did you feel,
where did you go and what happened while you
were there.
Answer:
This is an experience that happened yesterday, so it's still fairly fresh in my mind. My best friend, Frankie and I were strolling around the local Dollar General making jokes as we always do. We started to notice this creepy old guy around the aisles we were in a little too frequently, and obviously started to get worried. We carried on, trying to keep and eye on the guy. We walked into the snack section, and there he was. We turned right back around and went into the aisle next door.
"Maybe it's just a coincidence?" Frankie was concerned, nervous, even. For good reason, too. I told him it would be alright, and if he tried to do anything I wouldn't hesitate to cause a scene. As we talked about our plan to get this guy to stop being a creep, he walked out of the snack section with whatever he wanted. Probably circus peanuts.
We watched him pull up to the main counter and buy whatever he needed to buy. All throughout my mind, I was screaming "Stall for time, stall for time" so Frankie and I tossed a few bags of Andes mints into our cart. We watched him leave with a sigh of relief. We stood in line, behind a woman who felt familiar. Like, seeing an old English teacher from Elementary school in a store. We didn't go to Elementary school in the area, so we knew it couldn't be someone like that.
We got three cans of Arizona Green Tea, a scrunchie, a pack of stickers with puppies on them, and the two bags of mints. All of it was about seven dollars, so we paid and left. We walked up the big hill back to Frankie's house to sit down and relax. His dad bought us both Chinese food, lo main for Frankie, and a box of fried rice for me.
Frankie and I didn't really think much about the situation afterwards, other than a few jokes about it. I'm glad I didn't have to intervene, but if he followed us into that spice aisle next to the snacks I wouldn't hesitate. Moral of the story, be careful and watch out for people who might be following you around.

Are you looking forward to_________ to
London?
B. going
C. go
Answer:
C. go
If you plug each choice into the blank, through the process of elimination, it will be easier to choose the right one.
Are you looking forward to go to London?
Are you looking forward to going to London
By doing that, you can see which one makes more sense, The only way going would work, is if the "to" after forward is replaced with "on" like this:
Are you looking forward on going to London?
