Answer:
In this unit, we will be discussing Latitude as a climatic control. By latitude we are not talking about geographic location. Rather our interest will center on the effect of latitudinal location on the receipt of solar energy at the Earth's surface. To a degree the Greeks were on to the idea when they proposed their Torrid, Temperate and Frigid temperature zones over 2000 years ago.
02. Specifically in this section on Latitude, we are going to cover four topics:
Earth-Sun Relationships. This section will deal with the actual receipt of solar energy at the Earth's surface. The receipt of solar energy is directly related to the relationships which exist between the Earth and the Sun across the year. All of you would recognize the basic relationships. Each day we can see that the Sun "rises" in the east and sets in the west. Most would also recognize that over a 12 month period the Sun "moves" from north to south in our sky. In other words, the Sun not only "moves" from east to west, but also north to south. And how about the fact that days tend to get longer in the northern hemisphere from December 21 to June 21, and then grow shorter from June 21 to December 21? Earth-Sun relationships cause changes in the amount of insolation received day to day and seasonally. And, depending upon the relationship, the amount of insolation changes locationally and through time. The resultant temperatures created due to these changing relationships create pressure differences which are largely responsible for winds. The winds in turn drive the ocean currents and our weather.

if there are 20 zebras and there are 3 lions which one will min
Answer:
I don't really know but if it was a 1v1 a lion will win.
Explanation:
According to https://a-z-animals.com "A lion would win a fight against a zebra. Although that shouldn’t be a surprise, we feel it’s necessary to tell you that lions don’t always win these fights. Most of the time, lions attack in groups to take down large prey. They ambush a zebra and use their power and aggressiveness to bring it to the ground."
Also, according to https://a-z-animals.com, it states, "The only thing is that zebras don’t really have the instincts to attack and kill a lion. They want to flee. So, in the vast majority of cases, a persistent lion is going to kill a zebra. Don’t always count out the zebra, though. Zebras have been known to send lions down in a heap after landing a good kick to the jaw, head, or neck."
According to https://a-z-animals.com, if it was a 1v1 a lion will win
I don't really know because I never saw 20 zebras and 3 lions fight...

Desalination is important to both dubai and the united arab emirates because the process has __________. a. significantly reduced energy demands b. provided the majority of freshwater resources c. significantly reduced pressure on natural resources d. provided tremendous economic benefits at low costs
Because the process of Desalination has majority of freshwater resources, that makes it very important to both Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
What is Desalination?This is a technological induced process that transforms a sal-tw-ater into freshwater resources through the process of reverse osmosis.

what is the volume of a cylinder on a Hight of 14 and a base of 7
Answer:
539 cm²
Explanation:
Height of the cylinder, h = 14 cm
Base diameter = 7 cm
Base radius, r = 7/2 = 3.5 cm
Volume of the cylinder = πr²h = 22(7) × (3.5)² × 14 = 539 cm²
Answer:
Volume = 539cm³
Explanation:
Height = 14
Radius =
[tex] \frac{7}{2}[/tex]
Volume =
[tex]\pi {r}^{2}h[/tex]
[tex] \frac{22}{7} \times \frac{7}{2} \times \frac{7}{2} + 14 \\ = 11 \times 1 \times 7 \times 7 \\ = 539 \: {cm}^{ 3} [/tex]

Earthquakes typically occur along plate boundaries such as divergent, convergent, and transform. Earthquakes can cause other disasters such as tsunamis.
An earthquake typically occurs as a result of divergent, convergent, or remodelling in the plate, and it is capable of causing tsunamis due to its precise state.
What is an earthquake?An earthquake (additionally referred to as a quake, tremor, or temblor) is the shaking of the floor of the Earth because of an unexpected launch of power within the Earth's lithosphere that creates seismic waves.
Earthquakes can range in length from those that are so weak that they cannot be felt to those that are powerful enough to propel objects and people into the air and wreak havoc on entire cities.
The seismicity, or seismic activity, of a place is the frequency, type, and length of earthquakes experienced over a selected time period. The phrase "tremor" is likewise used for non-earthquake seismic rumbling.
