Cher journal,

Bonne nuit, journal.

Explanation:

In this writing prompt, the task was to write in a personal journal about a day using the passé composé and imparfait tenses in French. The writer was asked to use at least three verbs that take avoir in the passé composé and at least three verbs that take être in the passé composé, as well as words to describe their feelings.

The writer began by describing their morning routine, using the verb "se réveiller" (to wake up) in the imparfait tense to describe the action as ongoing or habitual. They then used the verb "marcher" (to walk) in the passé composé tense to describe a specific event that took place during their walk with their dog Max. The writer also included descriptive words to express their feelings, such as "content" and "détendu" (happy and relaxed).

Next, the writer moved on to their work project, using the verb "commencer" (to start) in the passé composé tense to describe the beginning of the project. They also included the verb "terminer" (to finish) in the passé composé tense to describe the completion of the project. The writer expressed their feelings of stress and relief throughout this part of the story.

Lastly, the writer described their encounter with an old lady who needed help finding her lost keys. They used the verb "rencontrer" (to meet) in the passé composé tense to describe the meeting and "aider" (to help) in the infinitive form to describe the action they took to help the lady. The writer included their feelings of gratitude and pride in their actions.

Throughout the writing, the writer used the imparfait tense to set the scene and describe ongoing actions, while the passé composé tense was used to describe specific events with a set beginning and end. The use of varied vocabulary and descriptive words to express feelings added depth and emotion to the story.

I explained in the third person, I am the writer ^_^

Hope that helps! Good luck! :)

Answer 2
Cher journal,

Cordialement,
