What activity did you show yourself performing? Why does this choice reflect the Egyptian style?
How does your drawing reflect the Egyptian canon?
How would you describe the meaning of your Egyptian-style drawing?
What limits did using the canon impose on you?
The correct answer to this open question is the following. Unfortunately, we do not know the activity you showed yourself performing. You are the one who knows it. You did not share that information. What we can do is to help with the following comments. You can choose to be an artist in ancient Egyptian times. This choice reflects the Egyptian style in that you like to draw symbols and write messages on Egyptian walls, columns, and obelisks, which were important components of ancient Egyptian buildings and temples. Your drawing reflects the Egyptian canon in that you are very careful about respecting the proportions of what you are drawing. Egyptian artists were very disciplined and strict in following the Egyptian canon to keep proportion real with the meaning they tried to convey. You could describe the meaning of your Egyptian-style drawing as a simple but very direct form of communicating using the correct way of the canon, so your drawings can never be misunderstood. The limits did using the canon impose on you is the way you use the canon to respect the 18 units to draw the body or the figure, including a 19th, that was sued to draw the details of the head, as well as the correct use of the scale of proportions, colors, and gestures.

While at the museum, you see Greek stone statues that sometimes have “holes” or openings between the arms and legs. Sometimes there are narrow connections in the stone closing the holes. They have rigid, frontal stances. From what period do you infer these statues are?
Answer:
More recently, the theory has been put forward that such Paleolithic carvings might be
the first attempts by women to represent themselves while pregnant. Thus the exaggerated breasts and midriff
might have served some gynecological function, plotting the changing forms of the female body in pregnancy.
Explanation:
The Greek statues with more realistic stances and more expertly rendered human forms appear to be from the classical period.
What was the Classical period in Greece?Classical Greece was a period in Ancient Greece lasting approximately 200 year, during which much of the eastern Aegean and northern regions of Greek culture gained increased autonomy from the Persian Empire.
Much of Western civilization's early defining politics, artistic thought (architecture, sculpture), scientific thought, theatre, literature, and philosophy derive from this period of Greek history, which had a powerful influence on the later Roman Empire.
The Greeks reached new heights in art, architecture, theatre, and philosophy during the Classical Period of ancient Greece. Under Pericles' leadership, democracy in Athens was refined.
Therefore, Greek stone statues that sometimes have “holes” or openings between the arms and legs, there are narrow connections in the stone closing the holes, and have rigid, frontal stances are from the classical period.

Listen to the Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique excerpt with the listening guide. What are some of the elements and techniques Berlioz uses to paint the musical picture he portrays in this excerpt?
The Symphonie fantastique is brought together by Berlioz's use of an idée fixe, despite being loosely based on sonata form. This phrase was used by Berlioz to characterize the recurring motif that stands for his adoration and obsession with Harriet Smithson.
How does Berlioz use this musical technique to unify the symphony?Throughout the symphony, Berlioz produces a single motif that recurs movement after movement a total of eight times.
Berlioz borrows Beethoven's method of repeatedly hearing a melody and identifying it with a particular thing—his beloved Harriet—to create his own compositions.
A large orchestra needs an epic piece like Symphonie fantastique. It conveys the self-destructive passion of an artist for a beautiful woman through its movements.

When suddenly he came across a bottle sticking on of the sand that had clearly washed ashore. As he picked it up he saw the contents within it, it was a gold and shining ring. He removed the cork that the ring was sealed it and shook out the ring from the bottle into his open, awaiting hand. I looked closely at the ring and saw a small writing inside the rind and it read : "one wish."
Realizing the opportunity, he closed his eyes and mad his wish. He wished for a thousand more 'wish" rings and as he opened his eyes, much to his amazement he was surrounded by a thousand wish bottles all around him. He quickly removed all the rings from their bottles and placed them all into his back pack. Yet, before leaving with his new found treasure he grabbed one bottle and placed one ring into it. Sealed it back with the cork and tossed it into the sea and watched the sea waters take it out to sea. "Good luck, to whom ever finds it!'
