Answers

Answer:

Dear ______,

I am reaching out to. you today to discuss a multitude of problems that are occuring within the school. I feel that these issues have reached an extent to which they can no longer be ignored and must be addressed with both seriousness and urgency.

My primary concern is the deteriorating mental health conditions that have boomed in recent years. I believe that students need to have more and easier access to counseling or maybe even just a quiet place where they can rest and take a break. The adolescence is the most important aspect of shaping a human being, and if our mental health is not treated and taken seriously, then we too will slowly loose ourselves.

Additionally, I find that another issue is lack of time given for kids to have a social life outside of school. We students spend five days a week and seven hours a day in school. Not to mention the countless hours we spend at home doing homework and studying for tests. It is a gruesome cycle and causes kids an immense amount of stress. To combat this, I believe that the school weeks should be four days, with 7-8 hours each day. I believe that the fifth day should instead be a study hall day for kids to complete homework assignments and study so that they do not need to cram it all on the weekend. This will also be able to give kids a break and allow them to maintain a social life whilst also staying caught up in their education

Finally, I believe that passing periods need to be extended. There is approximately five minutes to move from one class to the next and that is simply not enough time. We are expected to have a snack, use the restroom, get water, and get to class all in that short time frame. It is physically impossible; not to mention that we will be condemned if we do happen to be late to class. Bathroom lines are long, the halls are crowded, and sometimes we don't want to have to shove our food down our throats. Please consider extending the passing periods to at least 8 minutes. This will give us time to take care of all our necessities whilst also allowing for us to have a much needed break between our studies.

I sincerely thank you for your time,

How does the work of Isidro Blasco use humour, irony, parody, wit, or playfulness?

Answers

Explanation:

ISIDRO BLASCO

Isidro Blasco combines architecture, photography and installation to explore themes of vision and perception in relation to physical experience. Blasco uses digital photography and common building materials to assemble three-dimensional constructions that recreate interior spaces and outdoor environments that are reminiscent of Cubist collages with multi-faceted angles and planes. His work often references the realm of private or domestic space. The artist normally begins by selecting one angle in a room or outdoors and then constructs a new space from the perspective of that vantage point. Blasco’s slight distortion of this perspective produces scenes that can appear both recognizable and unfamiliar. “I connect my experience as an outsider who walks the streets and interacts with the city with my more intimate feelings about closed and private spaces,” he says.

"No, I was not born under a rhyming planet, not I cannot woo in festival terms."

Answers

Answer:

The speaker is saying that they are not good at wooing in a poetic or romantic way.

The quote "No, I was not born under a rhyming planet, not I cannot woo in festival terms" is spoken by Benedick in Shakespeare's play Much Ado About Nothing. In this context, "rhyming planet" refers to the planet Venus, which was associated with love and poetry in the Renaissance.

Benedick is saying that he was not born with the natural talent for writing poetry or wooing women in a charming or poetic way. The phrase "festival terms" refers to the language of love and courtship that was often used in poetry and plays of the time. This language was often full of flowery language, metaphors, and similes. Benedick is saying that he is not good at using this kind of language, and that he is not the kind of man who would traditionally be considered a "romantic".

The quote also reveals something about Benedick's character. He is a proud and independent man, and he does not like to conform to social expectations. He would rather be himself, even if it means that he is not the most romantic man in the world.

In the end, Benedick does end up wooing Beatrice, but he does it in his own way. He is not a smooth-talking romantic, but he is sincere and honest, and Beatrice eventually comes to appreciate him for who he is.
